Norum Construction & Renovations (NCR) was founded in 2007 by Mark and Greg Norum, locally born brothers who grew up in the Tri-City area and now live with their families in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. Over the past 15+ years, Norum Construction has grown big enough to tackle any large-scale renovation, and we pride ourselves with maintaining the same core values that set us apart from the beginning.

As a family-owned and operated business, there is nothing more important to us than keeping our word, even if it means taking a loss. That is why we never make promises we cannot keep. We care about our communities and we love what we do. We don’t just build or renovate houses and businesses; we create meaningful spaces for everyone to enjoy.

With over 50+ years of experience in working on building and renovation projects, we are able to help each of our clients make conscious decisions that will, in turn, provide them with a better return on investments. Our main goal is to help our clients and communities bring their dream spaces, homes, and designs to life.

Norum Construction was the contractor for our condo kitchen renovation. From the consultation and quotation process, through to completion, every interaction across the business was excellent. We were particularly impressed with the care, and eye for detail - no one was interested in "just getting the job done", rather, all team members were clearly committed to delivering high quality materials and workmanship, not accepting of anything that wasn't absolutely perfect, and going the extra mile to ensure that the finished kitchen exceeded our expectations. We hired Norum Construction to bring our 35-40-year-old home up to marketable shape to sell it. Their advice was particularly helpful when planning the scope of our project, and saved us a lot of additional expenses based on their experience and advice. They were easy to deal with and were very adaptable to our schedule and lifestyle. We were able to stay in our house while a full-scale renovation was in progress. They were prompt and professional and quickly dealt with any issues that arose. I am very happy with the end result and we were able to get top dollar for our property.

We had a project converting our open den into a nursery. The job itself was too big for my husband and or a general handyman, but too small for most renovation companies. Norum Construction offered to help us out and when they came for a consultation they were friendly and open to ideas and suggestions. Norum Construction was considerate of our tight budget and even provided suggestions/ideas to cut costs (no price gouging!) The job was finished in the provided time frame and budget. We’re extremely happy with the outcome, which we’re currently setting up for our baby boy due in September!
